Tech
A curated rundown of the tools, software, and hardware I rely on to design motion systems, streamline production, and ship thoughtful digital experiences. From After Effects scripts that reclaim hours of manual work to modern web tech that lets me take ideas from concept to production without handoffs.
Design & Motion
- Adobe After Effects is my primary motion tool and the backbone of most projects. Beyond animation, I build custom scripts and automation to remove friction from production.
- For editing and longer-form content, I work in Adobe Premiere Pro, closely integrated with my After Effects workflow. This setup allows for fast iteration, consistent timing, and clean transitions between motion and editorial.
- In 3D, I use Cinema 4D and Blender side by side. Cinema 4D is my tool of choice for motion-driven work that integrates seamlessly with After Effects, while Blender handles more complex modeling, animation, and rendering tasks when depth and flexibility matter.
- Adobe Photoshop supports image editing, compositing, and texture work across projects.
- Adobe Illustrator is my go-to for vector assets, logos, and scalable brand components that need to hold up across formats and screen sizes.
- For offline layouts, print design, and structured editorial work, I use Adobe InDesign to ensure visual consistency across physical and digital touchpoints.
Development
- This portfolio is built with Remix and deployed on Cloudflare Pages. As a designer, I value being able to code my own work, control performance and structure, and bring ideas to life beyond the Adobe ecosystem.
- For interactive visuals and real-time 3D effects, I use Three.js. You can see it in action on this site in elements like the jellyfish hero section and earth component, where design intent and technical execution come together seamlessly.
